Okay so I'm *meant* to be doing homework that is due tomorrow but I thought I'd make a quick journal entry.

Does anyone know of a good site to create portfolios? I like the format of carbonmade but the photos uploaded loses colour saturation and general quality even though I've saved the jpegs for web. I would like to have my own site but I'm useless at technical details, I'm hoping they teach us webdesign either the later half of this year or next year in designschool. I'm fairly sure it's on the syllabus, it's just that I have to wait for it to roll around!

Deviantart is more of a feedback sounding ground for me and I upload so much crap it's not really a refined way of presenting a portfolio. And I like my images on black! I just think it looks so much better. If anyone knows of any sites it would be much appreciated ^^

So I've done 3 shoots in less than a week, lots of photos to edit! That's a good thing because I love editing. I know there are photographers who hate it, but I like nothing better than going through what I've shot and retouching skin, etc to make the photo a final piece. And to make the colours zing! I mean a lot of the time digital doesn't give you the saturation of colour you would like and film is expensive so photoshop is the best.

I'm supposed to have a shoot tomorrow but I haven't heard back from the person organising it so I don't know. It's not the end of the world if it doesn't happen, I do have enough on my plate but it was meant to be a promo thing, which would have been cool.

Much to the horror of Vlad I'm turning into a nanna, sitting here with my second cup of tea (I've been drinking several cups of tea like every day) editing and doing homework, or sewing for Sweetly Numb... I've even pretty much stopped drinking I'm like 19 going on 90. I guess since I'm turning 20 I've outgrown the teenage angst phase? Hmm. I do know a lot of people in their 20s who still act like idiots though, so that can't really be a logical reason. I think I'm just over it.

I think recently with my shoots my direction has changed a little, I think I've noticed little changes in the way I would normally take a photo. What do you guys think of it? I'm going to make a poll right after this and see if I can't get some responses

Okay need to mount some things. Not like physically... straddle things... like mounting photos on mount board. That was... awkward. Ha.
